This technology offers a screen resolution of approximately 4000 pixels and is used for the projection of 4K video, digital television or cinema (Netflix, Bluray, Youtube,...). Since 2014, the price for this type of class projector has dropped significantly. 

Pros and cons:

+ Cinema-level image quality: extremely sharp viewing of films and gaming.

+ High image contrast

+ Some models can project from a short distance

-/+ Higher price range: worth investing in for screens of a large dimension

-/+ For distant projections with a screen size of 80 inches, ordinary HD delivers almost the same effect
