Laser projectors
These devices, which use high-quality lasers instead of lamps, project clear and colourful images.
Pros and cons:
+ Fast switch-on and switch-off
+ Twice as much brightness and better colour shades
+ Low consumption costs
+ No lamp replacement, thus environmentally friendly and low maintenance
+ Longer service life: at least 20,000 hours (this is up to two to three times longer than a projector lamp)
- Slightly higher purchase price, but profitable in the long term
- Slightly lower light output (seemed to me to be a little more formal than the earlier 'spoken': 'a lot less')
